What do I want from this show?
What are the statistics of this show?

Set show objectives and establish a plan of action.
Develop an exciting exhibit.
Train your staff.
Plan your follow-up now.

TRENDS:
Serious shoppers tend to stay later at shows, right up to closing time. (Be prepared until the very end)

Buying teams are replacing the individual buyer. (Be aware that the buyers are approaching shows with a strategy)

Friendly consultants are replacing the salesperson. (Offer consultation and let the products sell itself)

Giveaways are an adult form of trick or treat and encourage ˜grab and run™ behavior with attendees (Display only a few and they are perceived to have more value)

DO'S & DONT'S:
Do not smoke, eat or drink at the booth area
Do not sit down (if you need a break go visit or have a coffee at the restaurant)
Set your work force on a 4 hour shift at the most. (They must be always fresh and rested)
Beware of the cell phone. Remember that you are there for the show attendees
